Went to your store in Canal Walk yesterday and took one of your Hey Day special pamphlets, saw Hullets 2.5kg sugar advertised at R19.99.
Went to the shelf and the shelves are empty, asked the white manager when stock will arrive and um tomorrow.
Checkers, if you going to have these specials, please make sure your stores have the stock. One of your stores in Tableview, you advertised 5kg washing powder Bio Classic for R99.99 the manager made an exception as there was no stock and offered me another brand of 5kg powder, that is service, cannot say same for some of your other stores. If you run out of stock why not mark the next item down of the same thing, stop offering rain cheques unless you include a voucher for petrol.

It's not the customers problem that suppliers are out of stock, your promotion and deals are done months in advance, why should the customer be the loser. Please train your managers to stop blaming the suppliers. they seem to think if they tell you the supplier is out of stock then it is okay and not there problem.
This is going to be one tough year for every one including businesses. So up your game.
