Billed For a Product I never Received

I ordered a book from Leisure Books last year, and entered a promotion to recruit a member to get a gift. I recruited one member and chose a free gift of a cutlery set. I did not receive both the book I ordered and the free gift.
They notified me that they have received the free gift it was returned to them and billed me R158 for the book. I told them when they called me to remind me of an overdue amount, that I never received any book but they still charged me and even now have blacklisted me with TCT. How can I pay for something I don't have? If they can verify with the post office, they would see that I never collected the book they are just playing clever with me.

They should get me out of that blacklist or else show me the proof of receiving the book. Please!!
