I purchased a Bissel vacuum cleaner from Makro in November 2013. Handed it in for repairs on 10 January 2014.
Have to date tried to get feedback about the problem. When I phone Elise Mazok her go to answer is that she has to find out from the Bissel rep what is the problem. When she phones back, I get the same response - It should be here in 3 - 4 days. It is now almost 1 month.
Elise gave me the number of the Bissel rep. I phoned him on Tuesday he said it would be at Makro on Thursday - Well today is Thursday and it is not there. When I spoke to the rep, Garret, I asked him (as I had asked Makro) what was wrong with the vacuum. No one can give me an answer. This is very worrying as I only had the machine for 2 months before it broke.
Add to that the fact that the Makro salesman assured me they never get problems with this make or model when I bought it. And the fact that nowhere in PE can I find extra filters for this model - something that was also assured to me by the salesman.
So I just got a phonecall that I can come to Makro to get a credit for this machine. No attempt to resolve this from Makro or Bissel. They simply do not care that they are losing a customer.
