On the 23rd of December 2013 my cellphone, samsung s4 was at makro strubensvalley, gauteng. as soon as i realised my phone was missing i then on went to inform the makro staff and was referred to Brandon the risk manager. he then on said he wasn't sure if the camera on that isle is facing the right direction. there after told me to continue shopping while he goes to check the camera footage. he comes back and tell me that the phone wasn't on that isle but failed to check from the minute i walked in the shop or other isles that i appear on. he kept on the telling me that at this stage there isn't much they can do and i asked to assist him in checking the camera and he told me customers are not allowed in the control room. i was then assisted by another lady and she told me Brandon was busy outside because there was a car accident by the entrance and nothing further was done with my report, I'm appalled by the level of service and risk management as i am a paying customer as expect to me safe when entering makro. I'm sure there is better risk management at other retail stores. I'm disappointed and hope there is some level of improvement because this is unacceptable.
