11 January 2014 I went to Game East Rand Mall to purchase a vacuum cleaner. Upon getting to the till point I was informed by the cashier that my purchase needed to be verified by the accounts department as the total exceeded R1000. The supervisor took my card and called the department. Nobody answered the call. I was left waiting for over 10 minutes as she continued to try getting hold of someone in this department.

I went back 3 days later and again the same thing happened. Need to verify the purchase, call the department, nobody answering, customer kept waiting.

Today 1 February 2014 I went back yet again. Get to the till point, get told that the purchase needs to be verified. Supervisor comes along (at his own merry slouching pace) and informs me that due to the fact that my instalment is showing due I cannot make the purchase. (My instalment comes off my bank acc the 1st of every month), never mind the fact that I have R7600 available, and the purchase was for R1500. I queried for the manager, who kept me waiting for a while and didn't show.

So now I need to wait for the instalment to be taken off, then go back to Game for a 4TH TIME!!! Completely unacceptable!!!
