INFRINGEMENT OF CONSUMER RIGHT

I have had a an account with foschini for the past few years with no worries. My problem started when I asked them to refund the premiums that were deducted from my account over a period of more than 3 yrs without receiving the required policy documents. I was given a lame response and requested that they should cancel the insurance. Since then, I started scrutinising my statements to make sure that I wasn't paying for anything that im not covered for. Since then, I have not been receiving my statements on a monthly basis. I enq and was told that it could be the post office. Strange thing is my mom also has a tfg account and is receiving hers monthly. The last one I received was in September and dated June 2013. Was I wrong by beginning to read my statements? Why should my consumer right be ignored. I will be taking this further! As far as NCR or the OMBUDS!!! OR BOTH!!!
