Booked a service for my Side-to-side fridge that does not cool efficiently on 11 November. 2 Days later the technician makes a appointment and never came, only pitched a week later. I was told that the fridge needs a new PC Board. I asked for a quote, after several calls to him, was told that he is waiting to hear from TECSA for a quote. Phoned the Whirlpool in desperation on 30 December for help and was put on a Urgent Resolution list, no response. Phoned Whirlpool on a daily basis, still nothing gets done. Out of pure frustration I insisted on another technician to service my fridge. Shortly afterwards a technician from Swellendam contacted me and came out on the 9 of January. Was told that the PC board is in perfect working order and the seal and fan must be replaced. He will contact me the next week, 2 weeks later & another call to Whirlpool I was told that he has not ordered the parts. I called head office, explained everything. Received call back and a promise that technician will call back. I'm still waiting. To date I must throw away food on a daily basis. How can they advertise a service but do not deliver? 2 and a half months later and I'm still waiting...
