False advertising & poor service

I was sent a R100 voucher in the mail from Truworths as I am an account holder. After reviewing the terms and conditions of the voucher with a fine tooth comb, I went through to their nearest shop to find something I liked.
The voucher specifically indicated that it was valid for R100 savings on an account purchase at any store, for any merchandise. There was absolutely no fine print to indicate that my purchase had to be OVER R100.
At the store I selected a scarf which happened to be valued at R99. Upon taking this to the counter I was told I was not allowed to use my voucher as the item had to be a minimum of R100. Nowhere on the voucher was this indicated, which is blatantly misleading. The store manager made no attempt whatsoever to assist with this problem despite the fact that it was glaringly obvious that Truworths were in the wrong. There has subsequently been no attempt by the store to rectify this problem.
Truworths are obviously not interested in customer retention as I informed them I would be closing my account due to this slight, and the store did not make any effort to prevent this.
