Lost Sapphire stone in ring replaced

In October 2013 i purchased a ring for my wife as an anniversary present. About 3 weeks ago she realised that the centre stone was missing and as you can imagine with no hope of finding the stone she was not the happiest person under the sun.
We took the ring back to the Brookly Mall branch of NWJ where we received a sympathetic response to the problem but no promise other than to say the ring would be sent back for evaluation as to how a stone could come out of what is a virtually new ring.
On Friday July 5 NWJ Brooklyn rang to say the stone had been replaced, was awaiting collection and at no cost to us.
