Death policy that elapsed due to not Buying Cloths

Dear Edcon, Hollard,

I am short of words for lack of services pn a ploicy over 5 yrs old.
I purchased a death policy for me and my immediate family close to 5 years ago over the phone with Edcon / Hollard. My Father passed away on Wednesday last week, and in our traumatic expereice, found out that a death policy that I took out via the phone, only covered me, what made it even worse, after I stipulated on the phone that it had to cover me and my immediate family, was that this policy had been terminated due to the fact that I had not bought on my Edgars card for more than 4months, where by the system terminates my policy accordingly.
Apart from ensuring that I had money in my card at all times for this policy, can you imagine after receiving such news, to find out that your policy was closed on the ground of not buying clothes, one can see how confused, apart from furious with this matter I am, I thought policies had to be canceled in writting.
I challenge Edcon, Hollard to show me where I agreeded to cancel this policy, all calls are recorded, advising me of this accordingly, where a policy is based on grounds in accordance when purchasing of clothes.
I would like an explination
