Call centre operator gives wrong advice

Approximately 2 weeks ago I called the call centre to enquire for a limit increase, a lady Nonthlanthla assisted me. If the name of this person is incorrect, her name will appear on comments on my account, I spoke to another man tonight, Ananias and he confirmed that the lady had updated my gross income a few weeks ago and that all the calls are voice recorded. On that call that I had with the lady, she enquired how much limit increase I wanted I stated R2000 as a credit Limit. After obtaining my financial details she confirmed that my limit was increased. I requested her to mail me confirmation and she took my e-mail details down. No mail was received and upon making my instalment payment, I saw no limit increase was ever effected on my account. This I am sure is in breach of NCA regulations as the lady had financially misinformed me. Should this matter not be resolved, I will not hesitate to contact the necessary complaints boards and ensure that this person does not mislead more clients as myself. this is not the service one expects from the EDCON group, who I am sure is NCA Accredited. I would never refer anyone to open an EDCON account, with my bad experience with this company
