Woolworths expired wasabi

My mother and i went to purchase a few sushi products including the sheets, soya sauce and "Wasabi". by the time we got home and prepared the sushi. a relative of mine noted that the wasabi has expired 2 months prior to that. but we have alredy eaten of it!!!
