Wrong pricing

There was 2 tops of the same colour that were left and both these tops had the same price of which is R149.00, only to get to the till and the cashier advice that the price of the top is R169.00. I told her that how could it be that the same tops have wrong pricing. The cashier then told me no it must be that the person that was putting the price must have tagged them wrong. I then asked to have that item to be sold to me according to the displayed price but cashier said no I cannot as it is not the selling price. She then called another lady at the store and she said I cannot have it on the displayed price because the manager has left, but f the manager was here you were going to get it on the marked price.
So if there is no manager at the store is this the service that we must receive as customers, isn't there an assistant that deals with these types of queries?
