Truworths
Pse stay away from them!

I know everyone in SA are to a large extent buying in credit. We made the mistake of opening an account with Truworths quite a few years ago (as a matter of fact almost 20 years ago)) I paid R1200 (as a "safe" payment) while we knew we were going to be away on holiday. Trying to do the right thing was the biggest mistake of my life! The payment due was R1370 - for the first time in my life I short paid by R170!
The result of this was pure harassment! 7 to 10 calls a day and! People from their debt collection started phoning my wife 7 to 10 time a day with their strong arm collection approach and telling her we owe them R1540. Even though I paid this asap we keep on receiving these calls. In theory I am now R 1540 minus R170 in advance, but the calls never stop! During the day and up till after 1900! This harassment drive any one to the point where you lower yourself to their levels and start saying things you normally would not - you just lower yourself to their levels!
Pse do what I am going to do immediately - close your accounts and move away from them. The only power we have over this is to vote with our feet! There are many service providers who would love our business!
