Worst warrantee/gurantee terms in South Africa

I bought a HiSense fridge at the Hi-Fi Centurion last year December. One week after i took delivery the appliance stopped working. I took it to the shop and was told i should log the fault by calling customer service. I did that and contacted one Christopher. He asked for me to send purchase slip and serial number of appliance. I did that on the 13th of January. Till today. I have not even received an acknowledgement that they have received my email and they have not called me. What sort of customer service is this. To be frank if this were Game stores (for instance) this fridge would have been replaced the first day i took it to the shop, no questions asked.

I have always known that Hi-Fi Corporation has the worst warranty/guaranty terms in South Africa but they have added horrible customer service to it. I should just move away from buying at the shop and will encourage everyone to do same.

I do not usually buy at Hi-Fi because of their guarantee issues but i thought they would have sorted this but i guess that was a mistake.

Hello Peter, Can you help me sort this one out. I need a working fridge/freezer again which i paid for.
