Falsely accused of opening an account

Falsely accused op opening an account and not paying, thus we are now sitting with a summons against us, we have tried to resolve this with in store personnel, they requested the following information from us, copy of I D and an affidavit. We got them every document and now a month later they still have done absolutely nothing! They can give us no answer! We are completely in the dark. They also cannot provide any necessary proof that we actually opened an account such as payslips, I'd, banking information etc... And according to them this account was opened in 2007, I was basically still in school back then and wasn't even employed! So frustrated! What to DO!! They can not get away with this!
