Poor service delivery

I went to Shoprite hillbrow to buy some groceries, as usual I pay with my gift card.the till operator called her super visor who took my card and went to the office then two supervisors approached me as if I have and told me my card is not allowed in here, my question is since when??? been buying at the same shop with the same card . when was the law imposed and why don't they put notices that informs clients of new changes secondly filthy shopping baskets you can`t allow human beings to use such basket. thirdly few till operators cheered by long queues
