Closed account charged annual fee???

On 14th December 2013, I settled my account, paid R2939.70 and requested that the account be closed. This was done at Southdale Branch in Johanesburg. To my horror today, 21st January I received a statement with an outstanding amount of R24.04, a transcations termed ANNUAL Fee.
I requested that they close my account and I'm still waiting. I want my R24.04 NOW!!!
