25% off that truworths had

Today i went to truworths so that i can exchange the skirt that i had. Actually did not know that truworths had kids section, so i saw this dress which i bought for my daughter. On the price tag it states that it was 25% which was R170.00 the price that i had to pay. I was happy with that price.
When i went to the till the lady that was about to help me removed the 25% tag end says to me i will pay R230.00 which i was not aware that the 25% ended on the 03/02/2013, if the sale ended yesterday why did they have the 25% tags on the clothes. Am consumer and my consumer rights states that i will pay for the price that i have seen on the tag not because you failed to do your job as a shop now i will need to be pelnalised for it. I did escalated to the manager of the shop Pops, she did not care at all, she sates her ming and to with my opionion that i had. Am very upset disapointed that you can receive such ill service from one of our top shops.
