Wetherleys simply have no after sale service

We bought a R17, 000 aviator couch. Upon delivery, the couch was scratched badly. We immediately called the store, and were informed that Wetherleys will get back to us. This happened in July 2013. A possible replacement couch was brought from Bloemfontein a few months later, but it was not the same model or colour. At this point, we were offered a R500 voucher, which we refused. R500 voucher, to be spend in a Wetherleys store, given that the couch cost R17, 000, is simply unacceptable and frankly, patrionizing. Numerous calls to Wetherleys, with little to no feedback from them, leaves us little choice but to warn other customers... avoid Wetherleys specifically the Northgate branch at all cost. The hassles afterwards is simply not worth your time. I will never buy from Wetherleys again... a pity as we have been loyal and frequent customers for more than ten years. Goods from Weylands or even Coricraft results in much better after-sale service.
