I asked for a discount on a slightly damaged item & was told that it cant be done - Not politely.
I told the sales assistant that I will be paying with multiple gift cards & the balance with my credit card - he swiped 3 gift cards & then said "we only take max 3 cards" - We worked out how much cash needed to be drawn, based on the total he gave us minus what came off the gift cards already & went to draw the cash, only to be told on our return that we actually owe more than the initial amount we were given. I refused to pay the difference because it was not my mistake & I was not willing to keep going back & forth to the atm. This turned into a fight.
The manager then asked for our patience as they needed to reverse the gift cards & re-do the transaction & then they would take the cash that we drew (leaving me to think that they would not be charging me the difference between the 2 amounts given) - so I waited for about half an hour while they reversed the cards.
They then told me to pay the difference and when I refused, proceeded to speak about me in a language I do not understand. After wasting A LOT of my time and fighting, they eventually sorted it with a sulky attitude.
