UNHAPPY WITH AIRCON NOISE FROM DAY ONE

I purchased a new Logik Aircon from Game Sandton in June 2013 for R3999 including installation. From day one the aircon made a crackling sound. I bought spacers to prevent the diffuser from touching the wall. This reduced the crackling sound to a small extent. The noise causes a big disturbance so we cannott use the unit when we sleep from day one. I thought this was normal untl I checked another house with same installation where it worked perfectly. I am now convinced that that I purchased a defective aircon from Game. I tried calling the sales person and he tried to get the installer out to fix the problem but its taking 6 months for someone to come out and fix. Please can Games arrange the accredited installer to fix the problem so that we can use the aircon. I await your response as soom the 1 year gaurantee will be gone.
