Pick 'n Pay
Trolley with baby seats are unsafe

Shops, Products, Services

I visited the Hermanus Pick n Pay on Monday the 6 January with my 8 month old baby and 4 year old boy. I carried my baby into the shop and headed for the the trolleys with baby seats, only to find them jammed together. So, I m holding a baby in my left and try rip apart the trolleys with my right hand, most of them are jammed solidly together, half of them don't have covers on or if they do, have popped off and trying to put one back on is equivalent to putting a shower cap on with one hand. I finally found a trolley whose seat looked the most hygienic only to find the the safety harness didn't close. I brought this to the attention of the lady at the front desk but when I went back on Friday the trolleys were all out side, in the same sorry state all jammed together with half the covers off and, just to make things more difficult, had another trolley tipped over in front of them, so by now you can gather I have a baby in my left arm... thank you, I get the message, I ll go shop at the other shops in our area, obviously no one cares about moms with babies at the Pick n Pay Hermanus
