Advertising with no stock availability

Viewed the December 2013 catalogue & wanted to purchase the Doc Mcstuffins 25cm plush dolls. Went to the Gateway branch & called the Pavillion & Galeria branches for stock. All had advised that they had not received stock. How can you advertise something with no stock being available. All of the stores indicated that they had no idea as to when they would receive stock. Such a disappointment as my daughter had seen the pictures & really wanted the product. Try & explain to a 3 year old that they don't have stock.
