I made my first purchase-a washing machine from [URL Removed] on the 25th of November. Shortly after my husband informed me that it was grossly overpriced and it was a lot more expensive than the retail price in the stores. As I was traveling the following week I asked him to ring the contact center and organize to return the machine. He rang the office numerous times and spoke to Miranda who promised she would get back to him. She did not.

When I returned the week of 9 December I was determined to speak to someone who could actually help with this and to just return the machine. I called the office incessantly, left messages and was advised that a manager would call me back. He did not. Finally I got Miranda and she asked me to hold for her manager. The line disconnected. This was about 16:30 in the afternoon. I called back 20 mins later only to be told that both Miranda and her manager had already left for the day! Shocking and appalling disregard for a customer.

Please save yourself a headache and several Hundred Rand and buy directly from a store. At least there you are certain that prices are indicative of market prices and you will at least get someone who is willing to assist.
