They refused to refund me my money

I ordered a pair of sneakers and received the wrong colour and they claimed that there was a return and refund policy. I request a another pair and was told they didn't have anymore. I then arranged for a return which was almost successful. They acknowledged receipt of the sneakers and promised me my refund (minus R59). After 2weeks of not receive my money I contacted them, al day named Claire claimed that they have been trying to call me because refund was rejected by the bank (Pay Gate), this was on the 18th December. Yesterday (07/01/2014) I checked with my bank and it was confirmed that nothing was deposited into my account. I emailed the support line and the same lady Claire, responded, saying my deposit was done on the 9th December. I refuted this and reminded her that on the 19th she said the refund was rejected by Pay Gate, why was she now saying the refunded me on the 09th. This clearly did not add up and I requested her to look into the matter. I requested for proof of the refund, she just sent me an email saying "we refunded you on the 9th, enjoy your day further". No proof, no promise to investigate, nothing. Just total arrogance.
