I currently opens a Truworths account on the 28th Dec and there after bought a handbag on the very same day. I was very excited about my purchase and loved my new handbag. I only used the Handbag on the 5th Jan and later that evening after work I realized that there was a small sharp metal on the two sides of the bag that lead to a number of cuts on my arms and I then decided I wanted to return the bag and get a replacement. On the 7th of Jan which was the only opportunity I had to return the bag I took the bag back to the truworths store at randburg square branch and explained the situation to the lady counter at the time, who then called the manager. I had to explain the situation to the manager and he told me he would take the bag but not give me a replacement with a rude tone and expression in his voice. I told him I did not have the receipt and I had bought it via my truworths account card but would return the next day with the receipt as I thought I had it with me but only realized at the store that I didn't, and he told me even if I did I would not get the bag back. I am very disappointed at the service.
