Arriving at the store on 2 January I am unable to try out a R6500 electric scooter as "the guys forgot to charge it on New Year's eve." Not a single one of the cheaper models had been charged either. When I asked if it would be possible to charge it I was told: "the Evo 800 is really nice - you don't need to try it - most people just buy them."
They promise to charge it overnight if I will return the following day.
Arrive the next day - key cannot be found as a staff member has it in his pocket -off for the day to renew his licence.
"Go out for lunch - he lives nearby and will return the key."
2 Hours later we return, but key has not been returned - "I don't know what else we can do to get the key."
I tell salesman exactly where to stuff the scooter and leave.
Called back by my wife who has sent for the manager.
He eventually offers to open another scooter for testing, but the batteries do not have much charge straight from the box - tells me the staff member will get " a big fat warning."
Too late - unless I can buy straight from the importer it is a lost sale as 2 day run around and multiple 30km return trips is unacceptable!! Come on guys - can you afford to lose easy sales?
