I placed my first ever woolworths online shopping order. I placed 3 orders in the same session. Two were gift deliveries (flowers) to another province, and were delievered with no hitch on the day I selected. The third was a large clothing purchase for delivery to my home. I selected only clothing items that showed "stock available" in my suburb. I did not want issues with items being out of stock, so I was VERY carefult o order what you said was available. I selected Saturday delivery (today) between 10am and 1pm. I recieved an email confirmation of my order. At 12h30 today when I had not had any delivery I called the Woolworths call centre to enquire and was told I was not getting my delivery as some of my items were out of stock!? I supposedly got an email from the "store" (?) asking what alternatives I wanted. I clearly stated in my order that I did NOT want substitutes on any of the items and that I wanted delivery TODAY of what WAS available. I have triple checked my mailbox and there is NO email from Woolworths about my items being out of stock. None. Why didn't I get a PHONE CALL??? I am now without ANY of my items that I needed for my trip! I am furious. Why bother?
