Adidas shoes not the size they are marked

Big fan of the brand and buy regularly. Bought a pair of Thrasher 2 in a UK 7 as this is and has always been my size (UK 8 and a half). I didn't even bother to try them on as I knew they would fit... Unfortunately they don't, because they're marked as a UK 7 and US 7 and a half... in other words, they're actually a UK 6 (or even possibly a UK 5 and a half). I have checked all the other pairs of adidas shoes that I own and all of them say "UK7" and "US8 and a half"... Someone got something wrong somewhere.
