New World Refuses Refund, Client Thrown OUT

We bought a small watch at New World Appliances Menlyn 24/12/2013, and had it wrapped for Christmas by them in their store. Later on we decided on not giving this gift to the specific person and got him something else. I went back today with a wrapped gift as we received it from them with the slip explained to the lady who helped us, and she opened the gift, she then took it to another guy behind a counter who then said there is nothing wrong with the gift and we must keep it or instead of a refund take a credit note. i told him acredit note will not help us as we stay in Cape Town. We got into an argument and he said I can wait until he feels like helping me, I then requested to speak to the manager or owner, who then went to the guy who told me to wait and change my attitude but do's not even bother to lift stand up from his chair to talk to me. Leslie came walking over " the owner of the shop" i then asked the lady if I had an attitude before this other guy started telling me and she answered no sir. Leslie then just ignored my request for an refund and asked me to leave New World Appliances Menlyn.
