When requiring about purchasing a flat screen TV on an account, I was told that it was a quick and easy process, and to please come back the next day with bank statements and all documents. I returned the next day with all documents, submitted to sales person, and paid a R380 deposit. I was then told that he would phone me the following day to sign my account and delivery procedures. The next day no sales person contacted me, which then I decided to go to the store during working hours. On arrival the first thing they told me was to pay an extra 20% deposit and proof of resent payslip. An hour later the sales person says that they have spelt my surname incorrectly and would have to re submit my information. Stating that this should only take another half an hour. 2 hours later did they tell me that there is no one in the office to approve my account and that they where closing. I find this service shocking seeming I had to wait a total of 4 hours, paying a deposit of R700 and leaving with nothing after 2 days.
