Refuse to Cancel My Application

I was invited to a holiday club presentation, the sales person Chris made his presentation and wanted us to pay a deposit for a number of points if we are happy about the product. We were happy with the presentation but were not prepared to make any financial commitments there and then.
Even worse, I told the sales person by the name of Chris that i will not pay the deposit as i want to think about the proposal. He then said i must sign the contract and pay the deposit later when i have decided. Upon reading the contract i was totally unhappy with it and told him that i want out. He told me that is impossible. i then emailed a company by the name of VRC and they got back to me saying this credit application cannot be cancelled by me but by the board upon reviewing my contract. I called them, and spent an hour being put on hold, being transferred from one person to the other and my calls being dropped. After a long talk I told them where to get of as i cancelled within 30 days as per NCR. They said they will get back to me as they could not answer some of the questions i asked them. The service is poor and they will do anything to force you to buy their service
