Donot want to exchange a gift

To whom it may concern please assist as i was very upset to the service i received at Clicks Golden Acre, i received a footspa on the 20/12/2013 and thought that i would not keep the gift long as i have one and wanted to exchange for something else, but i was told that i need to ask for till slip and the person that gave the gift to me went on leave not that was of any concern to the sale lady she then said i must try and get the till slip from the person i even explian that the person went to Kimberly for holiday to his family but she insist that i must get the till slip, as i told my colleague at work and one of them toke out clicks till slip to read the policy for exchange and to our Surprise at the back of the till slip Clicks policy they Happy to exchange if you do not have till slip and the item not been used???
