Bad attitude when trying to exchange FAULTY items

I went to Shoprite in Ennerdale this morning to exchange faulty globes that I had bought recently, the service advisor that I spoke to was reluctant to assist when I told her that I do not want the same brand. I was instructed to fetch the globes that I wanted and go back to her for the exchange. I waited for about 10 minutes after doing so, I then asked her for the purchase slip in case there was an item that I needed to exchange that was on the till slip and she rudely told me that she won't be able to as my till slip is required to prove that she has done the exchange. She then went to make a copy of the slip and I was just let at the till unattended for quite a while until I left without the till slip. One of the reasons why I needed that till slip is because I purchased the items on some one's behalf and will not be refunded without that till slip! I think this staff member needs to be sent on a customer care course so that she knows how to deal with client queries because this is very unacceptable. I need that slip back
