Absolutely No idea of customer service

Long story short, i call the store this morning to buy an air conditioner, the salesman says they have one, his manager asks do i want to buy it cash or on account, because on account is a lot of paperwork???
i say on account, as i have an existing account that is almost paid up, and i want to keep an account there for reference purposes as i received excellent service their previously.i was told they needed my Id, payslip and proof or res, to reapply for credit? i ask him, can i fax it through, he says of course and gives me there fax no, i fax everything through, he calls me later and says he needs some details on my monthly expenses to finalise the paperwork.he eventually calls me abt. 3.30pm saying that everything is in order, and his manager says i just need to bring my original id, payslip and proof of res in, i SPECIFICALLY ask, is everything ready that i can bring it in, sign the paperwork and get the aircon, he says yes, i get there, he makes copies and says he will call me tomorrow, ffs, i asked is everything sorted, we speak to the manager and he has a total attitude, saying well what must he do? he will try arrange delivery tomorrow, WHY TO ME?
