Disappointed in Game!!!

I purchased a christmas tree which was on sale today. Half the parts aren't in the box and the cashiers didn't bother checking if everything is indeed in- which personally, I think is their responsibility. Also, why does game sell such products but neglects to inform consumers that the goods are only partial?
