How can you advertise nationally then no stock?

In this week's You/Huisgenoot you advertised kick scooters of R299 for R99 this Saturday, 21 Dec'13 only.
When we got there before opening time and a dozen people were waiting. When the doors opened, the store said they have no stock. The excuse was that the 9 they ordered wasn't delivered. How can you advertise nationwide for one day only and then not have stock? That is totally unacceptable. You break children's hearts.
