I recently had a baby and from day one, infact from the time we knew we were pregnant have been buying from Toys R Us in Gateway..we have spent thousands of rands in that store. Today i vow never to put my foot in that store again!!! The manager (Asodha) and Supervisor (Elsie) have no way of dealing with customers in fact they do not display any leadership skills at all and i cannot understand how people of this caliber are selected for any management positions. Asodha is rude and seems to think that there is no higher power than her and she will do and say what she likes. Her arrogence lead to a huge blow up when she could have listened and dealt with the issue. I bought a R200 item of which broke, i returned it and it was fixed, it broke again and i returned this time i wanted to change and take something else for R600..had she seen past her arrogence the store was actually benifitting from it all..because she didnt want to deal with customers... she jumps in while im speaking and says she cant help me because i dont have a slip..assuming i wanted my money back, i wanted a change of item which was allowed without the slip. They are expensive and we must still be treated badly!!!
