PLEASE UPDATE MY STATUS WITH TRANSUNION

I opened an account with Jet some years ago. In April 2013 I went to Maponya Mall Branch Soweto to make payment arrangement, I told her I wont afford to pay R800 for 5 months, how much can I pay? She said you can pay any amount that you have as long as you are paying. After a week I went again to the same store I spoke to someone else, and she said the same thing, I paid R200. After a month I went to Jet Mart at The Bridge in Johannesburg I spoke to the guy, I told him same thing he said no it doesn't matter whatever amount that you can afford. I paid R400 in May. On the 30 of June I received a phone call from Edcon consultant, who was very rude to me saying I need to pay R3000 by 01/07/13 my account is in areas. I explained that I went to the Jet stores to make payment arrangement and they told me that I can pay whatever amount as long as Im paying told him I don't have money that's why I went to do payment arrangement. He said I should have phoned the financial department I told him I didn't know that, I paid an account in full in August and I closed it. I checked with TransUnion they didn't update my status. I phoned them so many times untill today I still owe them as per TransUnion.
