Account payments through EFT not picked up in time

I am a customer to Edcon comapany and I am worried the way Jet (Edcon) system works, I have been paying my accounts every 25th of the month if late would be the 28th of a month and I started with this arrangement from August 2013.
I got a calls from Jet Accounts in regards to August payment and I told them that I paid through EFT, and they finally fixed it and I was told that the problem was fixed and Jet accounts department will see payments in time, but to my surprise end September I received SMSES again saying I must pay to mantain my credit record??? I ignored the messages as per the consultant that called me, and October the same thing happened and I ignored the messages as per the consultant.
To my surprize when I went to Edgards branch in Elloff street I was told that due to my late payments I have accumulated an amount in areas of about R 1000.00 plus, and really I was so disappointed in Jet/Edcon accounts department as I feel now that someone might not be doing their jobs there and I will have to carry or pay for thei errors.
I asked the sales lady to pull me the payment history and nothing matches to my payment dates and it looks as if I was constantly paying late.
