A dress was purchased at the Traffic store in Long Street. The dress is a size small and did not fit me, I went back to the store 4 days later and tried on a size medium which was too big. I was told that they don't do refunds and will only be allowed to exchange it for something else in the store. I tried on 3 other dresses and a jacket, but found everything to be of a bad cut. As there was nothing else in the store that I liked, I requested a refund, in terms of the Consumer Protection Act I am entitled to a refund within 5 days. A staff member then told me to try and sell the dress myself in order to get the money back... REALLY?! I am not interested in selling goods, I just wanted the money back so that I could buy a dress of better quality. The manager was quite rude in the way he came across so I called the head office and spoke to someone by the name of Lisa. She told me Carol, who deals with complaints will call me back in 5-10 minutes. That was on Tuesday, it is now Friday - I still await her call. In addition, I called the back and was told to contact the same manager who was rude to me in store. Only for him to tell me today that the said that I cannot get a refund!
