Yesterday at 7pm I went to your V&A store in Cape Town, I requested that one of your consultants hold onto a particular dress for me - I was planning on returning tomorrow with one of my bridesmaid's to try on this particular dress. I was advised that this particular dress cannot be held over for two days. I understand store protocol, I find it absolutely ludicrous and insulting that your store manager who is quite aware of how often I frequent your store, (nearly every dress in my wardrobe is from your store) blatantly and quite bluntly refused to hold it over!! I am beyond appalled by the service that I have received. There were only three dresses on the rails (if someone came in and wanted to buy the dress in the 1, 5 days that it would be kept aside for me, they could simply have contacted me and advised that someone else is/was interested in purchasing the dress!!!) FYI had I been the given the opportunity to see the dress on my bridesmaids I would have purchased FIVE dresses!!! That is how much I loved the dress!! R10000.00 later and that is a sale that you have now lost. I will never ever visit or purchase anything from your store again. Great way to treat a loyal client.
