I purchased 140 cans of PnP 820 grams dog food for R11 online on Sunday. I was given an order number and confirmed a delivery time, CC details entered and accepted. When I wanted to add to the order today I called the service centre to enquire how to do this. It was at this stage that I realised that only TWO of the 140 cans I ordered would be delivered on Friday with a delivery charge of R50 as PnP had run out of stock. They at no stage informed me of this. If they had no stock, why did they accept the order? This food was due to be delivered to Animal Anti Cruelty League on Tuesday, what exactly am I to do with 2 cans of food. PnP online service is embarrassing and a complete waste of time and even worse, the poor animals will suffer because of their inefficient service. Calling the service centre is simply pointless, they want to offer me the food but at todays value, R14.49!! That is R3.50 more and will result in the shelter receiving way less food that promised. Not to mention that it is a disgrace that I, the consumer, have to pay more for a product because PnP were unable to delivery. I will take my business elsewhere and never shop at PnP again. Another customer lost!!
