My son has eczema and has been using the same ointment since 2008. Its a mixture which the Dr prescribes and I have it filled at Clicks. I chose them cos they cheaper and its more convenient, as they have outles all over the country and they are all linked. In October I got a 6 month refill script from Dr. Last week when I went to get the ointment, I was told that there's no active script for the mixture. I even went back to the Dr who wrote a new script. Unfortunately it didnt specify how it ought to be mixed. Cos of the long weekend, I had to wait till the 17th to see Dr again. The Dr t had the pharmacist on the line and they insisted that there was no script and they couldnt give her the coreect mixture, as they HAVE NEVER mixed this ointment for anyone, strange as I've ONLY ever had it mixed there. Anyway long story short, I called today to speak to pharmacist one last time, as i had the empty ointment container ect. All of a sudden he could find the missing script from October on the system, stating it was filed under my profile and not my son's as the Dr had said. Uhm my 8 year old is the patient of course he and dependent... Does it even make sense to search under his name?
