No pricing on item

Today I went to checkers Hyper, 14th Avenue in Roodepoort. I was told by the person who's working in the toys department that the Leap Pad Ultra was priced at R1299.00. At the till it was scanned for R1999.00. I told the lady at the till that I was informed by the person at the toys department that the Leap Pad was R1299.00. That's when she asked the packer to confirmed the correct price and she came back with the exact amount for R1299.00. Then the Branch Manger, Boetie Vermaak came and informed me that the price is incorrect and that the correct price was for R1999.00. I then informed Boetie that there was no pricing on the item and that the person employed by them informed me that it was R1299.00. Boetie just said that he could not give me the Leap Pad at the price for R1299.00 as there is a shortfall of R700.00. Now Boetie, do you think it's my fault that there was no pricing on your item and it's his responsibility to inform all staff of changes in pricing. I was never humiliated like this as I will never ever make use of this shop and the branch manager did not show any professionalism. I think that this manager has not ethics and morals to deal with customers. Very o
