Last week I visited their store as they sell Olympus and wanted to check the OMD EM5. I also inquired as to the printing done on site and checked pricing. I was told there is a special until 22 December with prints being half price. I asked about A1 and A0 canvass printing and was told by Terence and another staff member that A1 would be R250 and A0 R500. Today I return only to be told that the specials do not include the A0 size. I get some excuse about the supplier, so I decide to go A1. Then I get told as I'm not going for A0 and now A1 that the image provided will now have to be cropped. I then inquire as to quality and then get shown a print which is done on cheap looking canvass and the print itself lacks focus and sharpness. A print like that I'd chuck in the bin rather than show it to a client. In the end I walked out. I won't be doing business with them and will rather keep it with Orms. They say you get what you pay for and in this case it seems true indeed. My advice though is this, if you quote a certain amount then ensure that it's correct and if you show a customer a sample then make it a good one.
