Sony bravia lcd (panel fault)

On 30 March 2012, I bought a Bravia Sony LCD Tv set for R4799 at pavilion game store. one night watching tv a green line appeared accross the screen which was 2 November 2013, few months after the guarantee. i went into game store and i was turned away because they said my guarantee has up on the tv. I had contacted my insurance and they could not help me because they said it was a factory fault. Who would think a tv would give issues after the first year. i contacted Sony and they cannot help me. i feel ripped off and i don't have the cash to fix an expensive tv which I thought would last me a good couple of years. i am a loser of R4799. sony is a rip off. will never support the brand
