Bravia Sony LCD TV only lasted 12mths-Ripped off

On 22 March 2012, I bought a Bravia Sony LCD Tv set for R5300. I only started using the tv on July 2012 when i moved into my new house. In July 2013 I noticed something funny on TV like a white dots inside the screen. i took it to Game, where i was chased away and told that this TV has only 1 year guarantee which has now lapsed since i bought it in march, (they said there is no proof that I actually started using it in july) which i understand. My concern is even if i started using it in march it means that this TV only lasted 16 months. I was told that I should have take the extra warranty on it, which i could not afford. I realy trusted Game, why must they sell me product they know that it's going to last only one year? am still paying for it, they told me that I must take it to repaires at my own expenses, i took it to western cape tv and they told me that tv needs new panel which is not going to be less that R2500. I do not have this kind of money, i am now sitting at home with no tv, no money for repairs but paying installment on it, is there a law that can help me with like these? i am crying everyday and regret ever buying tv from Game.can senior person help m
