Advertising items which are not avaible!

In the 3rd week of November, I acquired the Game Christmas brochure which advertised a LeapReader for R599 each. In an attempt to buy my daughters' Christmas present early, I promptly went to Game in Tygervalley Centre. When I couldn't find the item on the shelf, I made my way to Customer Service and spoke to Monty. He could not find any stock allocated for their store and said he'd contact their buyer and get back to me. When I didn't hear from him after a week, I went back to the store and asked for him. He advised me that they were going to receive 4 and that he'd let me know once the stock arrives. Up until today I've not heard a word. I'm utterly disgusted by your poor customer service! Since when is it the duty of the customer to constantly follow up? Even a call to advise you're still waiting would suffice. Also Game, please don't advertise goods and then you don't make provision for it. I would really welcome some response, as I still want to get this for my daughter for Christmas.
